Welcome to our 9-Ball League
We want to welcome everyone to our 9-Ball League. Please help us make this league better. Let us know what changes we can make to make the league better next season. This way we can bring them up at our captain’s meeting at the beginning of next season.
Fouling on the Break results in Ball in Hand
Please remember that the incoming shooter has ball in hand when a foul is made on the break. Ball in hand is anywhere on the table.
Push Out Shots
A “push out” shot may be shot only on the second shot of a rack or game. If no foul is committed on the break shot, a shooter (whoever is shooting the second shot of the rack/game) may choose to play a “push out” as their shot. The shooter must make their intention known to the opposing player. When making a “push out” shot you do not have to contact the lowest numbered ball and/or a cushion.
If no foul (such as scratching) is committed on a push out, the other player can choose to shoot the next shot or make the play who shot the “push out” shot make the next shot.
