We reserve the right to move a player into a different bracket based on known playing ability. Players should contact Jeff Brooks if they are not sure what bracket they should compete in. Each tournament champion will win Singles Entry Only into the 8-Ball event at the 2016 Sunshine State ACS Florida State Championships. Green fees are not included. Singles Entry cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another player.
Players with 15 games played must use their actual average!
Players begin using their actual average after 5 weeks or 15 games played. Therefore, a player must use their average if they currently have played all 5 weeks of this season. Players with less than 5 weeks or 15 games played should continue to use their book average.
Cue Stick on the Table
Rule 6.12 – If the shooter uses his cue stick in order to align a shot by placing it on the table without having a hand on the stick, it is a foul.
Intentionally Marking the Table can result in an Unsportsmanlike Conduct Foul (Rule 6.16 (f))
Intentionally marking the table is not acceptable. We realize that not all marks that find their way on the table are intentional. Therefore, shooters should not intentionally mark the table. Shooters should also ensure they take the time to remove any unintentional marks that may be made while lining up a shot and may be interpreted as intentional. Removing the mark should prevent any arguments on determining if the mark was intentional.
Envelopes must be at the Entersection no later than 6pm on Wednesday
