ACS 8-Ball Stats No Comments

Welcome to Another Season!
We just wanted to take the time to welcome everyone to the 2017-18 season. The league has 23 teams for this session. There is one bye scheduled every week. Plus, we have three position rounds scheduled throughout the year.

One exciting change for the season – the league is now paying for 23 team entries for next year’s Sunshine State ACS Florida State Championships. Current teams have dibs on these entries. We will provide entries to others if a team does not use an entry. Please speak to an officer if you have questions about the entries into the Florida State Championship.

Badda Bing! Bar is back in our league.Badda Bings
We would like to welcome Badda Bing! Bar back as one of our locations. Bar Box Heroes currently use Badda Bing! Bar as their location. There are great drink specials on Monday night for Monday Night Football. Plus, they have live bands.
Again, a BIG WELCOME BACK!

New Stats Program – Compusport.ca
We are using a new online stats program this year. The site address is www.compusport.ca . The schedule, team stats, and player stats can all be found on this site. Plus, players can download a phone app to access the same information. Please ensure your team knows how to access their stats.

Home Team is Listed First on our Schedule
Please note the home team is listed first on our schedule and any schedule you download from Compusport. This is a little different from previous years. So, please ensure you let your team know the home team is listed first on all our Monday Night ACS 8-Ball schedules.

10-Ball Break and Run Progressive Pot – $299
Week 2 Player – Jeff Brooks, Circle Something
We are doing the 10-Ball Break and Run Progressive Pot contest again. Last year’s pot got as high as $2000 or $200 for each legally pocketed ball. Rules were put in the captain’s packet. This is a fundraiser for the league. Plus, it is a chance for players to win some dollars $$$! Captains: please promote the 10-Ball Break and Run progressive pot.

Please note: All attempts at the 10-Ball Break and run will be done on Monday Night league nights only. This includes position rounds.

Week 1 Ticket Sales (We will show the home team of the match with the $ collected)

Moose Rackers – $2
Dead Eye Jedi – $20
Dead Shots – $5
Going Postal – $10
The B-Team – $21
Hard 8 – $30
Circle Something $11

Please use starting averages for first five weeks of play
Just a reminder a player uses their starting average for their first five weeks or 15 games of play. A player uses their actual average on their sixth week of league play.

Player Stats printed from our website are in alphabetical order
You can still find your players. Unfortunately, they show in alphabetical order and not per team. We are working with CompuSport to determine how we can get them to show per team.

Maximum ball spot is 15
The captains voted to have a maximum ball spot of 15 balls.

Match Envelope Drop Off Point
Entersection Bar & Grill – 3655 Webber St – Safe Behind the end of the bar
Home team captains are responsible for delivering the match’s envelope. The drop off point for the match envelopes is the Entersection Bar & Grill. Envelopes need to be delivered no later than 6pm on the Wednesday immediately following the night the match was played.

Direct any questions to your officers
We would prefer you ask Jeff Brooks, Pres and/or Shannon Meszaros, VP if you have any rules questions. Otherwise, feel free to ask any one of our officers any question you may have.
