Did you know CompuSport has a “Best of” list where you can find the top 10 teams for different categories such as Most Round Points, Most Wins, Most Points, Most EROS, etc. Learn how to view the “Best of” list by watching this video.
CompuSport is an online pool league stats program. This video shows you an easy way to view a player or team’s schedule. You can use CompuSport’s phone app and access a pool player or team’s schedule using the same steps.
We are using an awesome online pool league stats program this season. Captains and players can find schedules, stats, and more online at compusport.ca. You can also download a phone app that shows the same information. We produced a video to show how to view basic information. Please take the time to view this video and learn how to access our information.
Let us know if there are other “how to” videos you want us to create.
At a recent Eagle meeting, a member had asked the question, “How does having pool league make us money?” Well, I would love to show him how we not only can make money for a location, but we also have a giving spirit. Therefore, I am holding a Mr Jill & Mrs Jack Scotch Doubles tournament to benefit Look Good – Feel Better. An organization that helps women with cancer.
So, what is a Mr Jill & Mrs Jack Scotch Doubles Tournament? It is a mixed team (one male and one female) Scotch (every other shot) doubles tournament with a twist. Opposite dress! Yep, that’s right. The men must dress like women and women must dress like men. It is a fun twist on a great game. Think of it this way…it is close enough to Halloween that no one will look twice at the way we are dressed. There will have cash prizes for the top three teams. Plus, a cash prize for the best dressed couple. We will also have:
Tournament entry is $50 per team. Start time is 7pm. You don’t have to play to come out and have fun! We are asking teams to solicit cash donations from sponsors. To reach our goal, we hope that each team will find at least 10 sponsors of $5 or more.
I am going to approach any and all leagues and hope that I can count on our players to build multiple teams. I will limit the field to 32 entries. Below is the entry form. Feel free to contact Jeff Brooks at 941-363-1356 if you have any questions.

We did get a recommendation for the post-season tournament that I am going to implement. That is the highest ranking team of each match will have home field advantage. This gives teams a little more to fight for during the regular season.
