Sarasota Pool League

Sarasota  Pool League is an American Cue Sports (ACS) sanctioned pool  league serving pool players in Sarasota, Florida and other communities in, and around, Sarasota County.  Our leagues consists of pool teams that may include both men and women pool players.

We have three ACS sanctioned leagues that pool players can compete in:

Monday Night ACS 8-Ball League
Tuesday Night ACS 9-Ball League
Thursday Night STNEL ACS 8-Ball League

Anyone Can Play in Our Sarasota Pool League

Sarasota Pool League encourages all levels of players to join.   Teams are handicapped so everyone can remain competitive.  We have fun playing pool all while getting to meet interesting people from a variety backgrounds.

At the end of each regular season, we hold a banquet and tournament where trophies, cash awards and prizes are presented.

Players are also encouraged to compete in local tournaments or travel to Vegas to watch and compete in  ACS National 8-ball Tournaments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I good enough to play.
Yes!  Our 8-Ball league is handicapped which means any team can win our league.   Our 9-Ball league is not handicapped, but is based on wins or 9-balls made.  Making it a very competitive league too.

How much does it cost
$16 annual membership fee.  Then players in our 8-Ball League pay $10.00 per person on night of play for 8-Ball play and $10 per person on night of play for 9-Ball play..

Where do I play
You can play out of any of your hang outs that have a pool table or play at one of our current league locations.

What does a team consist of ?
You need at least 5 players for 8-Ball teams and 5 players for 9-Ball teams.  It is recommended to have 1 or 2 additional players.
